Cleaning coil casings

As the title suggests, what’s the best way to clean old coil casings that have the inevitable ageing aluminium marks.

Solvol Autosol and polishing wheel maybe ??

Thats what I do, but they will need redoing once in a while.

Think they are all anodised which much limits doing a lot to them.
