Need help finding production year a car based on FE number.

Hi guys!

Can anyone help me finding the year (or month) of a cars production date based on a Front End number?

The no. is FE1560060 and the car is aPpick-up

Trying to help someone identifying a car which chassisno. and papers has gone missing years ago during previous restoration..

Finding production year of even better the month, would be of great help.

My 66 SDL has an FE at around 900,000, built in December 65. That might give you a starting point.

Don’t know if pick ups follow the same datum point as standard minis, into 1970s though if so.

I'd suggest about 1970. Can't be more specific than that.

There is a fellow on FB in a bunch of the classic mini groups that has a running tally of all the Front end numbers. His name is Bill Bell and should be able to give you month and year.
