Mk1 heater matrix

Need to build a heater up for a Mk1. Has anybody got any links to suppliers please? Can’t find any on ebay. Also after correct size screws and foam if anybody has links

The screws are the usual self tappers which can be bought stainless (No 10 x 1/2 inch), and Somerford supply the foam. Some on the front panel might need the tips grinding off as the shorter ones are not available.

The later matrix has slightly bigger pipes, but they sell both types.

MK1 Heater matrix is available from Minispares as well as from Minisport. There are differences for early ore late MK1 Heaters. The early matrix is wider and has more volume, thus the connections have a slightly different position.
So first check your heater side panel regarding the exakt location of the in- and outlets and then order your matrix.

I did it a few weeks ago and ordered a new matrix which fits in nicely.

Regarding the foam. You can either search for the exact foam or you buy a roll of self-adhesive window sealing foam in the your local hardware store. That does the job too.

Correct screws and matrix all sorted now thanks to one of our finest forum members 😁 Very pleased. One of the very few luxuries in a Mk1 is the heater
