What are the 'preferred' pistons for a +060 1275 engine?.......too many to choose from! (don't want to spend mad money!)

If you can still buy them, +60 AE MG Metro slugs were very good and inexpensive.

I’ve run the 21253 in a few engines without issues.
The Calver ST ones seem a nice piston. Just used them in a 1098 + 0.080” build so I have no real life experience of them just yet.

For a Road Engine, Hypertecs. Very good piston at a sensible price. They take a true imperial ring, so there's a very big range of types and brands that fit them.

Omegas or just recently I've done 3 engines with Swiftune Heritage pistons. No issues. They're also available from Minispares.

Pretty simple to import a set, just place an order like you would any other bits. We can get a lot here and have to source elsewhere - it's no big deal and very easy these days. Considering all the added costs doing this, they still work out WAY cheaper that a set of (crap) AE's.
