Saw the posted on FB, think the author is on here, but cut out the name, just in case, as did not want to upset anyone.
Presumably this is only certain series, is this going to be applied to other makes/models as well ?
Might adversely affect spares situation for smaller less valuable cars .....
Is it really a sensible move, is the idea to increase amount of entrants ?

Re: Pre 66 FIA Engine size as log book?
Racers want to be competitive, all I can see this doing is make Cooper S models more valuable, and the engines even more so. Who in their right mind will want to compete in an 850 against a 1275 or even 998.
Where do they stand on overbores? Must is be 1275 or is 1293 or 1310 allowed as well?

This has been my most successful April Fool to date
I cannot believe the amount of messages/emails from people, who have been digging out rusty old shite, wanting to know how much I will pay
Have enjoyed reading all the posts on various Facebook pages, and pissed myself laughing at the moderator of A Series Appreciation and Mini Cooper Group 61-75 pages when they deleted my post off their sites because it was a "trade advert advertising that I wanted 850 parts"
(where's the 'clown' smilie when you need it?)
Looking forward to next year already
