Cooper S speedo

This is the speedo that came with my 65 Cooper S. Anyway to tell
by the serial # if it's correct?

Correct for a MK1 1275 Cooper S [post Sept 64] with 3.44 final drive [1280 TPM] and S standard ratio gearbox
