Koni std shocks

I am just fitting a pair of std Koni shocks. These are to rebuilt frames with nos cones.

I have checked out what the original fitted length is for shocks from BMC, and thus says 323mm.

The Koni one as per the photo is much shorter, and will not fit top pin to shock mounting.

Has anyone had the same problem?
