Monte Carlo January 68. Fall/Wood. Group 2. 4th.
Tulip May 68. Vernaeve/Wood. Group 2. 3rd. Tulip was first use of 5.5J wheels by the team.
Sold to M.Wood.

I love this Mk2 Cooper S ex-works car. It has been over here in Northern Ireland from about 1975. My friend Elgin Greer has owned this car since 1981 and has used it as runaround which is nice to see. Elgin has the old logbook with BMC Abingdon as the first registered keeper and loads of history documents.
Anyone who knows me will know that I love the Mk2 / Mk3 ex-works cars which were the best developed pre 1971.
Information recorded thus far is fantastic and hopefully I can help add what I know about these special cars

Based on YouTube footage of the 1971 Galway international rally, should we assume that ORX 707F was rebuilt into another shell following that horrific crash in 1971 ?
