Twin HS2 Return Spring Locations
Hello all, can anyone confirm the above? the centre spring is attached to the heat shield bracket and the throttle linkage and the two outer springs connect to the heat shield bracket and the left and right choke arms?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Two outer springs connect to the heatshield bracket. The middle on connects to the bottom of the air filter housing. There's no springs on the choke cable, just the springs on the carb mechanism.

I had mine as described but I've seen all 3 go to the heat shield bracket.

Mine used to until somewhere I found out the middle one went up, ergo the lug on the air filter.LarryLebel wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 2:09 pm I had mine as described but I've seen all 3 go to the heat shield bracket.

The throttle quadrant is notched to accept the top (plenum) spring.

Yes, the throttle quadrant is notched if you want the spring to go up.
I found it easier to have the spring on the throttle pin (where the cable attaches) and then down to the heat shield bar
