I have been helping a friend of many years sort through and sell off a 50 year accumulation of Mini parts due to various health problems. While going through the transmission section I came across a empty case and asked if he knew what this was out of. He replied it was a 5 speed unit of some sort and he couldn't remember the particulars. We came across a box marked 5 speed and the gears and stuff were unlike anything I have ever seen. As it turns out it is a Colotti tranny. Never heard of it. I did a search on the Forum and found some info on it. What an interesting piece of work. Question is if anyone has a picture or assembly spec. of how this thing goes together. Right now it reminds me of the first time I picked up a Rubik's Cube. It is a straight cut dog engagement set-up. We probably would not use it in a car due to various problems mentioned in the Forum thread I found but would like to put it back together for historical purposes. Maybe make a piece of furniture out of it! Any help or insights from anyone who has experience with Colotti would be appreciated. They still have a website.

Pretty sure there is one person on this forum who drives with one of these Colotti 5-speed's.
Only 10% sure he goes by the username 'woodypup59'
