RH inner wing doubler

Post by Gary Schulz »

Does anyone have a template for the correct early RH inner wing doubler/stiffener section that goes on the inside of this panel?

My old pattern was destroyed and I thought I would check to see if anyone has made a drawing of it.

Also, are these the areas that need to be fixed to turn this into a mk1 panel? Seems like a lot of work!

M-machine sell the correct stiffener as my heritage inner wings came with the later type.
The lumps and bumps circled are incorrect if fitting to a mark one. I removed them on mine also.

I wound up making up a paper template so I ordered some steel in the correct thickness and will make it myself. Now, should I buy a spot welder??
