Lucas dating of parts

I am listing a NOS Lucas boxed brake light switch (parallel thread so not Mini) today on Greed Bay

Whist taking the pics, I noticed it was dated 36 74 but the box says 9 74. A quick Google revealed week 36 includes the first few days of September !!

So, is it possible that Lucas were still using Month Year on their boxes when the parts were Week Year :? :o

A 34542 here, 371 box 0971 on the switch.
