DogBoxes

Post by Worx_55 »

Hi All,
Just a quick question, Who makes the best dogboxes?

Swiftune?
MED?
JKD?
Glebe?

Are the MED units any good?

Or are there and other ones i left out????

Thanks

the Swiftune (quaife) ones are excelent,
the MED ones are also meant to be very good.
JKD have apparently had company issues in recent years, so spare availability can be a problem.
never heard of Glebe.

JKD: hard wearing but tend to crunch when rushed
Glebe: copy of the first quaife dogbox..the one with the recessed dog faces in the dog rings. Good shift quality but had some quality problems.
Swiftune: best i used till now. Sweet shift quality. Can take load of abuse.
MED: no experience

My two pennorth;

Swiftune - Always excellent quality, but you pay the price.
MED - Judging by other products & services of their I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
JKD - Total bunch of crooks, just to a Google search on them & read some of the horror stories.
Glebe - Never heard of them.

All the above are based on my personal prejudice & some experience.
