Hello Guys
I have some troubles with my wiper motor,
It stopped to work so I changed the words brushes but it doesn't work anymore
I cleaned everything, an greased all the mobiles components.
I tried to plug it on a battery, but it doesn't work, the motor shakes a little bit inside but nothing else
does anyone know what I could check?
Thank you
Wiper motor failure

Re: Wiper motor failure
It sound like it is actually working electrically Charley but something mechanical is failing. Suggest you look at the mechanicals. We use to call it '..... trouble shooting by elimination

Re: Wiper motor failure
Hello Peter
Thank you for your help
I took out the the top of the wiper motor, so I think it's electrical, not a mechanical issu, there is no wheel, I removed the top of the wiper motor

Re: Wiper motor failure
I suppose this is a short-circuit in the turns of the rotor.
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s
