Two egg shaped lumps formed on the corners of this bonnet. Something a previous owner did to personalize the car or an aftermarket bonnet?

Today was the first time I had my car around other mini owners. They asked about the bumps also and figured out that the car has an oversized radiator. One bump was necessary for clearance, the second for symmetry.
