Idler gear bearing circlip three sync with long peg idler

What is the part number for the circlip I need to give clearance for the long peg idler to pass through the bearing in the gearbox when using a three sync gearbox?

Depending on which particular case and bearing it takes;-

22G1141 for the smaller 1" OD Bearing

51K3565 for the larger 1-1/16" OD Bearing

I have a 22G68 case that takes the smaller OD bearing but I want to use this with an idler gear that has the longer pin on the gearbox side.

I was under the impression that there was a circlip suitable for retaining the smaller OD bearing and allowing the protruding but of the pin to pass through.

This is the previous idler that came out of my last gearbox (an 846)

It's just the O/D of the bearing that changes between 3 & 4 sync, the I/D for both is 3/4". So, you just need the appropriate 22G1141 clip to suit the O/D of the bearing which will be 3 sync type with your 22G68 case. Providing the clip is seated correctly it sits below the outer lip of the bearing so will not come into contact with the idler gear stub.
