Lucas 9H backet screw thread

Hello Guys

I finally found a 10/63 dated 9h hornfor my 997 Cooper

Unfortunately the screw that holds the horn on the bracket is missing,

I enclosed some pictures for reference





Does anyone know the original part number? or maybe a replacement part?

Just to start the ball rolling I'd say that it looked like an old BS-Whitworth. A firm favourite of early Lucas.

Thread: The screw is 5/16 X 7/8" with a 12 thread.

5/16 BSW is 18tpi so no go there

It looks a bit like a big self tapper like the OE supplied with the Scottish sump guard.

Looks good!! It may be a self tapper I don't received my horn yet so I can't mesure yet
