Hpi check colour change?
Hi, in the midst of selling my mk2 cooper a potential buyer has contacted me to say my mini shows 1 change of colour on a hpi check. The heritage cert, log book and the car are all the same so whats the chances of this being an error? Has anyone else had this happen? I've spoken to dvla this morning and they said it could be logged as one colour change due to customer order from the factory or just a simple error. Ive sent off a v888 form which they suggested which might share this info.

Re: Hpi check colour change?
A decent HPI check would show both the 'previous' and 'current' colour along with the date that is was altered, which may answer your question.
But if something small like that stops someone buying a 50 year old car, then wow. Unless your selling it as original paint.
