Whilst restoring my 1071, we have come across that both doors are slightly different under the lower runner area. The Rh door has the conventional two tubes either end, but the LH door has a hole either end of the door on the outer edge where it sits into the body? Why is this? The door is in original almond green, as per the rest of the car! Any ideas?
Guessing it could have been changed? But very strange it has the original paint? Shell is 64.

Agree with Nick. The door with the holes is an earlier 59 / 60 door that has been used as a replacement.
