Re: Wiper linkage
10 1/2"
The reason I know is an interesting story. The wipers on my Traveller build pounded unmercifully on the window seal and scuttle. It was a MkI setup with a DR3A wiper with a 110 degree gear, so why this was happening was a mystery. I changed to later (MkIII) wheel boxes after calculating the sweep based on the difference in gear teeth would be just about right. I had to change the centre tube because the MkIII boxes are different in that area as well. Of course, you know what happened. The new sweep only covered about half of the windshield or screen for you guys in the old country. I found a 150 degree wiper gear that makes the sweep acceptable. The reason for the original issue is still a mystery because the original wheel boes are OK and so is the drive wire which I reused. There's always some mystery around the Mini.

Re: Wiper linkage
BTW. If you need a tube I have one here on my desk. I made the tube for my new setup out of a steel brake line. I used a cheapo flaring tool which was just adequate for the 2 flares I needed.

These are my old original tubes, measured to the outer end of the flare.
