BMW Cylinder head

Has anyone fitted, or had fitted, a BMW Motorbike cylinder head to an A block ?

Lots of K series BMW heads fitted over the years
There's even a kit in ebay sometimes

hi

i am actually building such an engine.

i bougth the Kit from Specialist components.
I promise i won't buy another MkI...

Lots have done it sucessfully.
Pictures would be nice.

The two heads they use are K100 (8 valve) and K1100 (16 valve)

As above Specialist Components do a kit, so does Force Racing and a couple of other places

If you’re interested SC do an instruction manual which outlines the many modifications that need to be done including moving head studs

We run one in our 24 Hours of LeMons car. The John Lemmon Wols Woyce. Smooth reliable power that runs cool at a sustained 6000 rpm for hours and hours. Have been running it since 2015
