Locating fitting bracket for fuel pump on subframe

Just been looking at my rear subframe and it appears to have two options for holes to mount the fuel pump bracket, much like this one (not my pic but same holes).

Are the rearmost holes correct - like this one? I am guessing one pair of holes is for the more modern fuel pump or something?

The two Forward holes would be correct.
My original frame (68) only has two holes, and they correspond to the forward holes on the factory replacement frames.

I would say use the other two holes on that picture

I used the rear most holes as the pump brackets fouled on the brake pipe (Hydro car).

However, not saying it’s correct

Just checked my wet subframes that I have here ....all three of them have two holes....these are original subframes that have been in storage here for years.
Looks like they must have added the extra holes in later years.

Every time I look at this it reminds me what a daft idea putting the pump out there exposed to the elements was in the first place!

By the way if the top half of the car looks anything like the underneath that looks like some tidy restoration!

Every time I make a similar comment my (long retired) BMC guru responds that “ yes, they only lasted 40 years
( or something appropriate the my problem) you think they’d make them a bit more durable.....

I guess they last a lot longer these days when most of us don't use our cars in all weathers but (rightly or wrongly) I had gathered that back in the 60s and 70s having to find a suitable stick to prompt the pump into life was not uncommon.
