Small bore head gasket

Post by Minigman »

Anyone recommend a decent small bore head gasket?

Seems a shortage of quality ones around.

Are Victor Reinz any good?

I used the Minispares GUG702506HG gasket on mine and had no problems since whereas I had done before, get the competition studs though if you are changing these at the same time

None in stock at minispares currently, hence investigating alternatives.

Reinz gaskets are used by Cosworth on a lot of their road engines and are OEM suppliers

Use the Reinz one, top quality brand and looks a nice item.

I can get hold of the Victor Reinz ones ok.

Install dry or with a sealant?

We only use the Victor Reinz small bore head gaskets now that we cannot buy the ACL made gaskets. The rest are rubbish, and the Copper shite they sell these days are absolute rubbish.

I’ve a few ACL on the shelf that I imported from NZ a while back if anyone needs one. £25 posted in the UK.
