Quite expensive but very detailed, are they as good as they look?

I`ve got the Austin Seven in Red and it is fantastic..even the wheels bolt on with tiny wheelnuts!, plus it has an I.O.W. (DL) registration so i just had to get it i can thoroughly recommend them for detail. HOWEVER.... i have noticed that on the new traveller model they have put the filler cap on the passenger side rear quarter in the middle of the panel! , such a shame when the rest of the model looks so good .

Thanks for the feedback on the quality of the Sun Star models as I may invest in one.

However, the filler cap is correct for the early internal tank Traveller/Countrymans:

"In September 1960, BMC launched the Austin and Morris estate car versions of the Mini saloons, based on the floorpan of the Mini van. However, like the saloon, the fuel tank was situated on the near-side of the boot behind a trim panel and the spare wheel and battery were placed under a hinged floor panel. (Later, the tank would be put under the floor like the van, and the spare and battery would be re-positioned.)"

I am currently helping my brother to restore the 1961 Traveller shown below with this early feature.

I stand corrected!, must admit i have never seen an early traveller up close, my first mini was a 64 all steel estate with the filler on the drivers side and had assumed they were always like that, you learn something every day!

My brothers 'internal tank' Traveller is the first I have actually seen in the metal, there are only 28 (16 Austin & 12 Morris) known to exist by the Mini Traveller/Countryman Register.

Internal tanked Travellers can't be that rare, I just crawled out from underneath one.
