That's the thing, he's had some nice cars pass through his hands in the past, I came very close to buying a '66 Cooper from him about twenty years ago but walked away, then I saw it a few years later at Beaulieu and wished I'd actually bought it. At the same visit when I looked at the Cooper he had a red deseamed Mk1 Radford with Cibie headlights, I've always wondered what happened to it.

No that’s the going rate for a car hastily nailed together by Stevie Wonder with horrible panel fit and using shit parts like fake speedo faces.. He did exactly the same to MGJ 257D that he built from a logbook, not that I’m particularly offended or bothered by that, but what a fecking mess he made of that car and the poor disabled owner paid upfront and was gutted with the result.

Drives nice to, although I wouldn't back up some of the sales blurb, especially the bit about the "Original" Special Tuning Conversion. Anyone with the gift of sight will see that it has HS2 carbs and not HS4 as per an original GT S Kit. It looks right and presents very well and from an investment point of view it has earned almost 50% in the last year ;) .

It looked in better condition in the other photos in the other thread taken when still in storage and covered in junk!
