Hi All just looking at the wiring diagram on my 1964 mini. I note the output from the voltage regulator A1 which serves the live into the ignition switch and the switched lives out of ignition. I am thinking of installing an in line fuse on the A1 output. Any thoughts ?
Thanks Jimmy

Re: Installing extra fuses
There is an curious design philosophy here :-
The fuses protect the auxiliary circuits - ie indicators, stop lights, wipers, heater blower, horn etc. IE Non essentials
The primary circuits - ignition and main lights have no fuses.
So that there is no chance of a failed fuse stopping you from getting home - but a burnt out wiring loom definitely would !
