Lamp adaptors found from late 60s

Post by AndyPen »

There was a conversation on here a little while back and I knew we used an adaptor as some point, but no-one else seemed to recall them. Was doing a little more clearing and actually found a pair - so they did exist as I was beginning to doubt myself... memory and all that ;-)

We fitted these on my brother's car and I don't think I ever got around to it with ours. Ring any bells to anyone else now?

They were used when you converted your headlamps to sealed beam units.

allowed the side light bulb to be still used shining into headlamp bowl.

Thanks Mick, at least one other person knew about them then ;-)

No idea why I didn't fit ours but think it was because we found some good replacement pre-focus lenses - which was really the issue for us ;-)
