1961 Interior mirror

Post by AustinSe7en »

OK, so still sifting through boxes of “stuff” for my 1961 Austin Se7en.
This is the mirror that was on it when I got it in the late 80’s.
(I think the Panda came from my Sister!)
I am assuming that it is perhaps not original?
The stem is painted in crackle black.
Certainly looks good to go again, but wonder what type it should have had on it if this one is an aftermarket one?
Your thoughts please??

The base/stem is correct. I've got one with the same part number.

AS the ball is within the mirror it must be an aftermarket one I'd imagine. Looks right for the period and well done on helping Pandas to survive ;-)
