Some scans of some of the surviving pics I've taken over the years. Quality is pretty grim, both due to my shit scanner and my camera skills! Mind you I've a bit of an excuse, some were taken with one of them 110 cartridge type cameras when I was probably about 11/12 year old!
First 2 were from a Stock car/Hot Rod meeting taken when I was on holiday at Cornwall back in the mid '70's. I think it was at Quintrill Downs (or something like that?).

Next 3 were taken at Croft, probably late '70's, not sure if they were different meetings or at the same one, it was long ago and the memory ain't that good!!

Some more...Mini Challenge race at Donnington, this would be early '80s, it was a support race at a round of the Motoring News GT Championship, it was a 2 day event, I'm guessing at Sept 1981??

One from the Special Saloon/GT race.

Yeah me too! Seems a long time ago now! The rallycross pics from Croft will be the most recent ones and even they will be getting on for 30 years since I took them...scary how fast the time flies! I'll have to see what else I've got.

Great photos, if you find any more please post them!
Do we know more about this one?
Tony Bardy's 16v Twin Cam Mini, think it was an ex Trevor Reeves car/engine, I think it was 1500cc (1460??). I'm sure someone on here could fill in all the details of it? It was bloody quick!!

I found an old auto performance magazine with a feature on that very elf, according to social media yes it does still exist
I have heard from a friend that the shell was sold off a couple of years ago. Phil was building something space framed and bike engined. Whatever it is it will be superbly engineered.
Remember seeing elf and his Gtm at Prescott. Latter had 850 cc turbo in it. Definitely wasn’t standard 850 . This was a short stroke big bore.
