Can anyone describe how the choke function works on this carb (tagged MAC 10031).
From a '92 K British Open.
The red arrow shows how the choke cable pulls the lever.
But I don't see what it does, the spindle does not move the jet down - theres no mechanical connection.

It opens another internal passage for fuel. Great carbs I'd use it on my rally car but not allowed.

Yep, choke turns a spindle which opens another jet. Part 29 on the following diagram
