Hi,
my name is josh i am 17 from derbyshire i own 2 current mini's a 85 Ritz with 4050 gen miles and is a mint car and my 91 city daily runner but my plan is early next year i am going to buy a mk1 as a long term project and to do to a factory standard car at or close to concourse level.

Hello Josh,
I was in about the same situation at the same age !
MK I are very rewarding cars to own and work on, good luck !
But think twice, MK II might be slightly nicer to drive and hence more usable - depending of the model of your choice though.

i have always wanted a mk1 i prefer them to the mk2s
