Switch Cooper MK1

Hi,

on cooper s you find longs switch.
I have a extensions on the switch, but this is plastic and not really good. To flexible
Where can I find a long switch ? Do this exists ?

These were aftermarket switch extenders, used on lights and wiper switches. The only long switches I saw back then were ones used for air horns or headlight/spots flasher. They weren't on/off switches if I remember correctly.

I've seen a motorsport car with the entire switch plate extended forward with two brackets so that you can reach the switches - may be from the later padded parcel shelf or something?

What you have there is pretty much what we all used back in the day though.

Indeed in warm weather it's to flexible.
I was think that there was a other option, but now I know it with the replays, thx

There are more than 1 manufacturer/type. The ones I've sold were more square in section and the end was angled for finger press. Could have been Stadium, B&G, Paddy Hopkirk etc.

There are many type of switch extensions and,
the one you have is softest :)
