Could anyone please clarify the difference between Mk1 rear lights and van/estate units? They have different part numbers on minispares (1 is MK1, 6 is van) so I would assume there is a difference but the van link leads nowhere and visually I am struggling to spot the differences from generic images.
Yes the picture is the same but the lights are different . Van estate lights mount onto a flat panel and are the same both sides . Saloon lamps are handed as the body contour is different either side .

Thanks Roy, I'll try to sort through my lenses later with that information, I didn't make the connection with them listed as R/H and L/H for some reason
Just adding these photos, hopefully it helps someone who may search in the future, the difference is obvious if you have both! Sorry for the amateur question.
