Complete floor on fleabay

Post by redrobbo »

Someone has put a complete floor on flea bay, great great find.
Did all mk1/2/3 floors have 3 holes on the left floor section of the front recess/heal part and 4 on the drivers, 2 in the heal part and 2 in between there and the front edge/lip of the pan??
My M-Machine floor only has 2 in each heal section.

My original floor on my early 68 has no holes in the recess on the RH side( passenger side for us). The other holes forward of the recess are for the Subframe mounting hardware.

The floor grommet holes appear to be very random... some have none, some have a few, and others lots :?

For what its worth, HOY has two in either front floor pan and four in each rear pan.

Strange how there's no information given in the description about where it's been for 40 years. I think it's been 3D printed.

Round tunnel with starter button bump, remote gearchange so it's pre '73. My '73 clubman had rod change and a square tunnel.

Working for a dealership, I spent a lot of time drilling holes in the underside of BMC/BL cars ;) Mostly to let water out.
On some models, they even sent us diagrams showing where to drill them
Wet carpets and steamed-up windows were normal along with oil leaks and drip trays in the showroom.....BMC dealers never had carpet in the showrooms.
