Amongst some of the rads I picked up yesterday is one stamped ARA1980 and dated 6 65
The rest are either ARA1573 or ARA2063
Anyone able to identify the radiator by the number ?
cheers
Andrew

Re: ARA1980 radiator
With the early rads Andrew,it's easy to spot a Cooper 'S' one from 850 as the bottom hose flange is angled 45 degrees to clear the larger front pulley damper.

Re: ARA1980 radiator
I’ll have to have a look at it to double check but I think I worked out that it was the original radiator out of my March 65 S. Not just by date etc but also by the silver paint it was covered in as was the engine bay of the car !
It wasn’t in the car when I got it but was subsequently discovered in an Austin 1100 full of Mini and ADO16 radiators elsewhere at the parts department.
