Sway bars

Post by 360gts »

Work is progressing nicely on the restoration of the vintage race car....this car never had a front sway bar...just the typical BL type on the rear.
Question for the race guys.......are they effective?? do you use front and rear sway bars?
Appreciate feedback.

I use a rear arb on my hydro car, it works great and wouldn’t remove it

Guess I should have mentioned that this is a dry setup...the rear sway bar is a Leyland wet unit....it seemed to work well back in the day when I actually raced this car....however, reading various articles there appears to be some who use them and some who won't.

I do not, but I would say about 1 in 5 do. This from looking at cars in the paddock. My 2cents.

The anti rollbar used in the back of most of the current App K race Minis is like something you would see in a lorry.
