Minisport R-Range hardy spicer drive shafts

Post by almondgreen »

Has anyone here fitted the new Minisport R-Range hardy spicer drive shafts?

I made the mistake to buy a set, but they do not work.

They do not fit into the hardy spicer part and on the other side in the CV joint.....

Send them back and get a refund.
I have used Minisport twice in the 90s and as I found if a company cannot weld a exhaust flange on straight so it seals and won’t even look at a faulty part or refund you then they are not worth using.

Go to MED for performance stuff or Minispares and actually KAD were also very accommodating swapping a rear roll bar for a short Appendix K bar despite not buying it from them in the first place . Never had issues with any of them and been using Minispares for 30 years. Always call Minispares North as they are a better bunch to talk too plus there’s a guy called Rich there who is very helpful. Anyone heard of him ? 😉😀

I bought a pair of refurbed rear arms once, one was a hydro and the other a dry ;-)

Have fallen out with Minisport before with their 2mm out on spin repro S wheels ,, However all is not bad as i do like their rear adjustable Camber & Toe Brackets ..those with the multi tooth groove plate plate because they are easy to fit & set up.. suppose its take your choice as with any supplier & complain if its wrong.

Personally , I haven’t used them for 30 years.
Bought a 1380 bare block off them and asked for the extra holes for an S head.
The holes had obviously been drilled by hand and were so pissed that the studs were 3 inches away from the holes in the head.
I wouldn’t buy a carrier bag off them!
