Gearbox questions
I have a 22G68 box with a 22G232 laygear so I think this means it has the same as a Mk1 Cooper S transmission. I also have a 22A1128 box so who knows what that is ??

The '68 is a Mk1 998 Cooper gearbox but the gear set is the same as a B type Mk1 S 'standard' gear set.
