Trying to sort out what year mini this door would have come off? I haven’t seen one with the piece pop riveted on before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like piece taken off a later door or home made piece...and pop riveted onto the door.....
See the attached picture of a later door.
My early MK 1 Elf has the same as my picture....perhaps a 59/60 door was like yours!
