It also has a Tilling wind up window conversion rather than the 1/4 lights on his later car.

Photo below from MiniWorld magazine - March 2020
Extract from the 30th Anniversary Italian Job report:-
"The Italian Job Minis were joined on the roof of the NH Lingotto Hotel (the old Fiat factory as seen in The Italian Job film) by 30 Minis from the Turin Mini Club and one was Enzo Ferrari's own red custom Mini."

Enzo Ferrari's Mini Cooper featured in Ruoteclassiche magazine - July 2015
"The car originally came in red but is believed to have been repainted in metallic grey as soon as Enzo Ferrari got hold of it. It was grey until 2012 when Carlo Navone decided to have it repainted in red again."

Indeed but it seems odd to change it from a colour that Enzo Ferrari chose (given that the value proposition is that it was Ferrari's car...) and one that suited it to one which isn't even the original Tartan Red....

I have one of them grilles lying around somewhere with an Austin badge on it, I actually thought it was something someone had knocked up in their shed during a moment or two of boredom. I was surprised when I discovered it was actually a 'proper' accessory...
