'5 speed' gear knob

Anyone know when the '5 speed' gear knob was phased out ?

Would the part number 22H1051 be correct for it ?

I didn't realise it was "A thing" I thought it was just a batch with odd markings on them.

My 61 that is totally unmessed with doesn't have one. Nor does my (generally speaking) unmessed with 1960.

I think out of the collection I have only one is of that style. They are out there just not common. Steve (CTR)

I'm sure you are right Bill.

Different suppliers is so often the explanation for anomalies like this.

i have a spare early knob like this from a '61

would you guys in the know say a tenner is a reasonable price to ask?
