Finally, some recent pictures of this project. It's been at the paint shop for quite a while:

Simply lovely!
Now you have the worrying time of re-assembly without scratching the paint.
Good luck with that.

Looks fantastic
Have they flatted the paint / applied the coach lines then re lacquered it?

I admit. I haven't seen it yet. It is now delivered to Peter's place (a tent in his front yard with concrete tile floor) It will get loom, clocks, lights etc. then we will (maybe) figure out how to get the engine in without scratching too much. So it will still be a while.aeg163job wrote:Simply lovely!

Re: 1964 Rust project
Just a quick update
My friend Peter isn't quite as fast and doesn't take quite so many pictures as I do, but here are some from a couple weeks ago.

He asked me to come over this evening and help get it started for the first time.
Seems odd that the rain gutter is white!

Re: 1964 Rust project
The roof had been painted to far, the gutter should be body colour, depends on if you want to correct It or not, if you do I'd advise using black over the red first as red can bleed through white over time (depending on paint type)
Great job to have got it back to being a car again
