now for the good news, my friend Nigel, has been home to Wales for Christmas.
This time he found the pictures of his Sprint 8-) I will post them, as soon as I get my "sticky fingers" on them ;)

And we are back, Nigel has finally scanned the pictures, here is his mail

"Hi Jens,

Finally dug out the Sprint Pics an scanned them.. Memory lane indeed !! J

Judging by the number plate it was approx. 1969 registered.

I wish I had taken more pics… I wish I hadn’t sold it for £300 …. I wish….. J

All I seem to remember mechanically was it had the 4x motorcycle carb set-up, and the headlights were Vauxhall Viva !

Sold to a Peter Jones ( Bodywork / Sprayer) in Carmarthen, and he cant remember where it went… !

I used to work within spitting distance of Peter's workshop. How long ago did your friend sell the Sprint Jens.?

Hi :)

No problemo, I also like to see these cool period pics 8-)

So I am only happy to share my own findings with people, who appreciate them.

I have some from 1979, of my 122 Sport, and they are SOOO 70ies, its unbelivable ;)

Hi :)

I just send him your question, but I think it was around 1979 :?:

It was sold becourse he was offered a Lotus Europa :?

and not a "proper" Twin Cam one - its one of those with the Renault engine

I had to downsize the pics, to uploade them, but even in the small format, can you see the rust hole, in the left side, of the rear valance.

The Hydro is also down, on the left side, but 300 for a Sprint, with 8 port engine

Not a bad price, but still some money.

Jens Christian

Edit = new info

It was sold 1979.

Someone's just got a bargain, if they finish it half as well as Paul's other sprint.

That is a real shame. Pail agreed to sell me that car about 4 years ago for £3,500

The deal was done then he just disappeared & refused to answer my mails.

It's a real shame to see it in such shit order now.

Still, its a real bargain at that price. If it gets done I assume it will end up with a plastic front on it.
