Is it sealed, or can you dismantle to separate the gauge from the pod?

More might be learned from photos of the internal layout and design.

Think you just put in inline on the positive coil wire, you will then see if it works or not :?

It is sealed... i never saw one with only 2 wires, unless it uses the back metal support, as ground... :?

In your first picture there is a two bladed connector attached to the body, this is most likley the earth.

Just wondering if the counter has a light and is so where is the bulb holder

The two bladed connector is the bulb holder for the light, and both the holder and interior support is plastic, no metal. So i discarded the possibility of some connection through the support.

It works!!! After "zooming", one photo that i found in some ebay ad :lol: :lol: :lol:

- the red wire to positive terminal of ignition coil;
- the black wire to negative terminal of ignition coil;

in other ebay ad, the seller say that "This tacho is not polarity sensitive" :D

unfortunately i cant read the all warnings in the photo :lol: :lol: :lol:
l) about positive earth installations, with is not my case, one less :lol:
the h) and i) can be a problem :lol: :mrgreen:
the "Note" is something like this: "this tachometer will not be damage if momentary miss connection but is .... wrongly connected it will read incorrectly and eventually its eletronic components may be destroyed." :D
