Hi guys this is my first post I have recently bought myself a 1959 mini it needs minimal welding. Were is the best place for pannels? Also would it devalue the car if I was to change the standard bushes for Polly. Are there any other things I can change to make it better but not devalue it. Any help would be much appreciated also the car is red and I don't know the paint coad it also has a white roof just want to know for the respray thanks from mark keen

If you wish to leave the car original. modern poly bushes won't fit the original bottom arms, niether was the roof a different colour to the rest of the car.markkeen123 wrote:Hi guys this is my first post I have recently bought myself a 1959 mini it needs minimal welding. Best place for panels is M-machine. To hold its value its best to keep things standard really.
What colour does it say on the log book, that will give you an idea if it had a white roof when it left the dealership?
Would love to see some pics!

If it is a 59 mini, the sills shouldn't be foam filled. But CHECK before welding anything!markkeen123 wrote:Will post pics when I have gutted her ready to reviel all the nastys any tips for welding the pannels back in ? Can't wait to start
