Hi there...
Can anyone tell me, is it normal that the upper arm squeeze very tight on the little buffer ( under the upper arm ) when all the parts are fitted, and the rubber cone is loose from the tool again.
PS: The subframe is not is the car yet, so theres no weight from the car & engine to push the upper arms up ( and alle the other parts also ). Is that why they push so hard on the buffers?????

That sounds OK to me. That is, if all the suspension parts are standard and the Doughnut (rubber spring) is seated correctly in the subframe tower.

Hi InimiaD
Thanks... Coulden´t see what else should be wrong?? And the cones fits as they should in the subframe tower
I used the original struts ( aluminium ) under the new cones.. ( DUNLOP ), whit some nos QH KNUCKLE JOINTS... just thought it looks a little crazy for the small
buffers as the sumframe is standing on the floor.... and wondering if the weigt of the car / and engine will make the upper arms free on the buffer later
