C19 Harewood

Post by App K »

I remember talking to a scruitineer last year who said that the regs are changing in 2018 regarding seats, belts and helmets
Is anybody aware of the change as I think my harness is out of date? Last year it wasn’t a problem.
Cheers

I don’t think so this year, I think the “Classic” rules on seats and harness are pretty lenient, helmets should be same as last year, Others may know better and please comment if they know any different, Mark and Adam are out this weekend at Harewood

As Steve says, Adam & I are out this weekend & I will report back. However we were scrutineered on the practice day & there were no queries raised over helmets, seats, belts etc. None at all actually.

There were quite a few changes last year regarding HANS devices etc. But this does not effect Classic classes.

I'll report back on Monday.

C19 is a road going class, so no requirements for belts

as long as the suit, helmet etc that you are wearing are in date you will be fine
should you wish, you can contact me on rich@minispares.com
