Yes it is possible to change the seal insitu, but you'll need the correct Primary gear puller, sleeve and Oil seal replacement thingummyjig to do the job correctly so the Oil seal goes on straight.

"seal puller"
The primary gear puller pulls the gear and takes the oil seal off with it.

Primary gear puller. The C shaped item of the three.

It's a while since I used it in anger, but i think the flywheel puller boss is used in conjunction with the C puller.
The black tube is the protective sleeve and the silver tube is used to press the oil seal back into place squarely.

What about the flywheel oil seal on the oil fed primary set up?
