Not sure yet - building the car to do historic rallys (not off road though) so i will be following some sort of homologation - 8 port hmmmm not sure really it depends which way the build goes
First job this weekend is to get the loom in, mock up the dash, install the switches etc and then I got one of the electronics guys from M-sport making up an additional loom for all the rally bits (plug n play just in case i ever want to take it all out)
Then followed by brake and fuel pipes in a week or two
Subframes are being done - re-inforced, plated, captive nuts for the sump guard etc - nice alloy tech del type from BMC Comps dept (flaming nice bit of kit from Paul )
Righty Ho - due to the purchase (finally) of my new toy im gonna have to get rid of this along with the new subframes + fittings and a new SD full bolt in cage.
It is a genuine MK3 S shell (B20D) with all the correct brackets etc, its a 71 on a K plate
There is also the original S short motor (i nicked the crank and the box for my red one) which comprises of a mk3 S thick flange block ( all std, never decked I think), MK3 S head, S rods and other bits n bats.
Ill put it properly up for sale in the next day or two with pics of everything and a price...
My red one may also be up for grabs, it would provide all the bits needed to finish building this into a stunning full historic rally car including new engine / box,(built to do the monte historic) all s running gear, all competition suspension components, maniflow works exhaust system, manifold and steel inlets, brand new twin 1.5 in SU HS4s etc
And a set of brand new Hardcoated Lexan windows with internal anti-fog coatings (as used by AMG in there DTM cars) the only set in existance in the world..
