Magic Wand Gearstick location pic and dimensions needed

I could do with getting some reference as to where the gearstick is (should be) when the cars is in say fourth gear.
Put it in fourth and measure from the gearknob to something solid I can compare too please.

Mine just seems to be in the wrong place (too far away from the driver and too low).

I'll post some pics of mine later tonight.

If the gear lever is in an awkward position, the knuckle linkage at the top of the diff is probably a spline out.

I think! thats what we assumed before when i was putting it in, from memory I tried adjusting it but couldnt for some reason or other - f'all access? or I did and it didn't help?
